RICS

Our team of professionals are all Fellows (or members) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) who regulate us. The RICS is recognised globally as the principal independent organisation for professionals working in land, property and construction regulating the highest standards of competence and integrity amongst members.

Walton Goodland is dedicated to maintaining high professional and ethical standards and providing transparent, impartial and objective advice to its clients whilst avoiding conflicts of interest.

Regulated by RICS

Walton Goodland as a firm is Regulated by RICS promoting a professional regulatory regime which is valued by clients and recognised by government and other regulators worldwide through the commitment of regulated firms to the RICS strict code of conduct.

RICS Registered Valuers

All three Directors are valuation professionals and are RICS Registered Valuers. The designation recognises the best regulated and qualified professionals in the field; reinforcing the highest professional standards and conduct in the delivery of valuation advice. It is mandatory for members undertaking valuations in the UK to be Registered Valuers. The RICS operates a regulatory monitoring system to ensure compliance.

Financial Services Authority (FSA)

Walton Goodland is registered with the FSA being directly authorised to undertake insurance activities which are regulated by the FSA in relation to the management of commercial properties. 

Other Corporate Professional Membership

Some of our professionals also belong to The Institute of Revenues Rating & Valuation (IRRV), The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and The Rating Surveyors Association.
