Former furniture showroom to become new indoor padel facility

Walton Goodland have completed the sale of the long established former Vaseys furniture showroom in central Carlisle. The 2-acre freehold site comprised approximately 70,000 sq ft of predominantly retail showroom space with ancillary warehousing and car parking. The property has been purchased by a local investment company who are about to undertake refurbishment/redevelopment works having agreed to let the majority of the space to a national padel operator for use as a new indoor padel facility. This is extremely exciting for the city and will provide a wonderful new resource and access to one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
