Walton Goodland have completed the sale of the iconic Grade II* listed Mansion House building in Penrith town centre. Set in 0.75 acres, the property is located adjacent to St Andrew’s Church in attractive surroundings approximately 200 metres from the Market Square. Extending to approximately 14,000 sq ft, the property was previously the headquarters of Eden District Council before becoming surplus as an operational asset and being marketed for sale by formal tender. Atkinson Homes, the locally based commercial developer and housebuilder, successfully acquired the property on unconditional terms and are now going through a feasibility process to establish conversion potential.
