Penrith Land Sale Completes

The off market sale of approximately 8 acres of commercial development land at Mile Lane, Penrith has successfully completed. Walton Goodland acted for the vendor. The site is at the entrance to Penrith Golf Hub immediately off the A66 at Skirsgill, opposite the Travelodge and Greggs. Mile Lane connects the A66 with Greystoke Road providing convenient access to the motorway network at Junction 40 of the M6 and also Gilwilly Industrial Estate.

The land is now going to be developed for commercial workshop and warehouse use comprising multiple units of different sizes within new high quality business park surroundings. Ground surveys and utilities procurement, unit sizes and types and development planning are all well underway to support the first phase of construction. This will be a speculative development designed to complement the surrounding landscape and further elevate Penrith as an economic hub for business in the county as well as throughout the region due the access and convenience of the site to the M6 (A66) motorway network and gateway to the Lake District and Britain’s Energy Coast.
